The resident TTRS troll.....at least he's the only one on the entire forum....and there's a good reason why. The car has too many faults to overcome its good traits.

I thought you people were smarter than this.
I have spoken how if I was completely single I'd get a manual m2. So yeah...pay more attention. However, I'm not. So I can't have a manual. TT RS looks better, sounds better and is faster in real life driving. Better interiors, better technology, more traction means more safety. So yeah, very logical IMO. |

As for the cons:
I don't really care that much about it not being RWD. I don't have kids, my partner doesn't want them. If they pop up, they will fit for many years. I live in Puerto Rico so everyone has a car, I don't need to carry others. 0-62mph is on average 3.5s. M240i and M2 do the same, in 4.4+ (manual). Steering is good and precise. I don't care about some understeer and frankly, for a DD, losing steering feel is meh for me, because the roads in Puerto Rico are not smooth. So yeah, MY reasons make it MORE logical. Different people have different reasons. Be smart. |

Personally I don't have a need to carry people around. Plus the TT RS works great for children, so has SOME future value. I wonder how the GC M2 will come out...if ever. |

See, rear disks like those raise the question of the RS being a true performance model capable of being an all-around weapon. 0-60 may take 1.2 seconds, or whatever the new figure is this week but it takes massive brakes to compliment that sort of speed. I won't even mention the entire-engine-in-front-of-axle placement that has yet to be rectified. Oops, I just did.

AMG A45 beats the TTRS on a tight paved wet course.

https://youtu.be/nFxq98EpDqA Look at the amount of dislikes. Read the comments. Drivers sucked and was a pussy, didn't push the TT RS at all, of course it will be slower... But don't listen to me, read for yourselves. |

I too make my automobile purchase decisions based upon like/dislikes of punters who have never driven the tested cars. . . and probably never will.

Just curious where did you find this out about the tires? I saw nothing about it in the video. Just random folks commenting which means nothing.
