OK so I've been zig zagging in peak hour this evening testing this.
Seems when you're stationary, they don't turn to the right, only to the left.
But when you're moving I'm fairly certain I can see them swivel to the right, it's a bit harder to tell cause the car will also move to the right but it does seem like the lights go even further.

It was fun testing it out, interested to see what others notice.

Interesting.

I've only tested it while stationary so this confirms the left only. Likely done if you're turning right so you don't blind oncoming traffic if the wheel is turned.

Will test out moving while driving tomorrow night.

Thanks Smiley

Has the process of getting through customs changed recently? Can anyone shed light on the time it takes from arrival on our shores until delivery? Thanks!

Garage List
New to this Board. Have an E92 M3 which is probably going to migrate into a more track focused car while this turns into the daily drive with some "occassional" track days. Mine is being delivered next week.

White DCT with no sunroof is what I ordered. Want to wrap the roof in carbon and then exchange the diffuser, mirror caps and trunk spoiler for more carbon fiber; making it a little Mini-Me of the E92.

After 4 months I've finally booked in for my break-in service.

Can't wait to open her up more soon!

Definitely not enjoying the fuel economy though. Averaging 11L/100km. 400km range.

11L/100 is pretty good.
I'm averaging just over 12L and that's from over 13k km, I don't think I've ever reset it.

Mine has certainly improved over the first 2500km - I was getting 14's driving to work but can now get into the 12's by avoiding rapid take-offs (but otherwise not driving especially economically). My M135i could get high 10's, the old 325i mid-12's in similar circumstances, so I'm not too bothered. Aside from the weeny tank that is...

I'm averaging low 10's l/100 kms with mainly city driving, was very impressed with an average of 7.9 a few weeks back after a 600km mostly highway trip.

Sound's like i need to press the loud pedal a bit more.

Getting about the same.
First service today at 1,950KM
Got handed the keys to a new 5 series 2.0D as a loan car.
Was pleasantly surprised how well it drove.
First time for service at Doncaster far better than the previous dealer I used to have.

That's impressive. I can't get near 10 in city driving. Manual/DCT?

Decided to test out the auto high beams on my way out of town last night.

I thought it just worked by turning on the high beams when a car wasn't in front you and the LEDs spilt the beam around the car. I was wrong - mine spilt the car. I was so transfixed with watching the lights bounce around I missed my turn off twice!

LOVE the feature. It was actually why I was waiting for the LCI. So so happy right now

I'm not sure what's different but pre LCI also has auto high beam assist.

Sorry that's what I meant. I didn't know I had it! Very happy.

And sport in the towns so I could have the window open and listen to that magic muffler noise.
The one poor issue is the dash it is almost impossible in certain lighting conditions to see the dial clearly...I think it is a bad mistake by BMW.
Great drivers car...my wife commented that she thought it was more comfortable than the 335.

You should try MDM thru towns

Yep the dash is horrible.
LCI fixed it with almost like a virtual cockpit.

Nicely done but I wouldn't want my plate showing.

Fingers crossed I should be picking up my car this Thursday or Friday.

My fault for dithering too long on the plates. Wanted a slim plate for the front but wasn't too keen on being too identifiable : finally found a compromise two weeks ago so the plates may hold up the delivery.

It also meant that I'm fitting the M Performance exhaust, the M Performance Alcantara LED display steering wheel, the Alcantara hood, the black kidney grilles and side emblems and the rear CF spoiler before delivery. The CF diffuser is on back order so that will have to wait. Also getting a rubber mat on order for the boot in case the missus wants to make a run to Bunnings.
