It's mid september. Any update on the trunk spoiler? Even some info about how it will differ from OEM would be appreciated

Just found this thread. I have an Alpine white M2, and while I love the shape of the carbon M Performance rear spoiler, I'd rather have the exact same shape but in plastic, so it could be painted Alpine white to match the paint on my car. Any tips?

Other options are going with painted reps (see JBSpeed in the 2 series vendor forum) that are not CF, painted to color or having a local paint shop paint the spoiler. I had a JBSpeed rep on my 135, figment and paint match was great. The TIAG paint held up for 4 years then had spider cracks in the clear coat. |

Was thinking a body matched top portion while the underside is left to expose the carbon fiber. With a carbon diffusor (titanium tips) I think it would create a cool look when looking closely.

If I do this, it because I want to balance the MP CF rear diffuser, while retaining the AW when looking over the trunk lid. |

Guys, why don't you just wrap your current spoilers with 3M vinyl? It'll cost less than 30$ specially if you do it yourself and you can easily remove it if you dont like the look anymore.
