I can't give you an honest answer. If I were DCT, I could take video of the speedo. It's just too hard (and dangerous) while shifting. 0-60 should be sub 4s easy with either transmission.

C&D has a press car. They should be performing an instrumented test. Unfortunately, they never do rolling tests.

You made me kind of regrat that I ordered and installed everything except for turbo. The lack in power at top end is killing me over these days...
I'm able to use the last couple 1000 rpm as it pulls to beyond the 7000 redline all the way to 7200 fuel cutoff. I now know what the E9x guys are talking about as it pertains to winding out the engine except in this case, we also have the low end torque associated with FI...best of both worlds.

Keep an eye out for incoming email with dyno attachment in the coming weeks.
Sure do it asap before it gets warmer. Do it making sure you use the same fuel and gear and dyno shop isn't manipulating numbers with different correction factors. And don't forget make various overlays.

Congrats for being the 1st independent globally with a Stage 4 dyno before and after.

You can't run e85 with the dinan tune, correct? Anyone have experience running a JB4 along w/ dinan to allow for this? AZ doesn't get the greatest gas but I do have access to e85, which made a huge difference back in my N54 135i

Dinan turbo is similar to pure stage 1 in flow capacity.

Pure+JB4 has been popular. Whatever tune works for pure should work for Dinan as well.

Is this true? I was under the impression that the dinan turbo was larger than stock, while pure stage 1 is just a modified compressor wheel with the stock turbo housing.

Dinan modifies compressor only like ps1.
Ps2 modifies turbine and compressor.
All of them use stock housing.

Just got back from my dyno session at Fabspeed Motorsport. SeanWRT will upload the graph which includes the stock run, with Fabspeed DP, and stage 4/DP combo. The peak numbers are as follows:

stock: 319/361
DP: 337/384
stage 4/DP: 382/408

Before anyone says "you should be hitting 400 whp", consider the following....The stock numbers are lower than what others have typically gotten (330-340). This particular dyno is a "heartbreaker" as noted by @[Fabspeed Motorsport].(contact:274731)
I can agree with this as I got 349 whp on my original dyno completely stock at Evan's Tuning in Allentown. A second reason is that we did the pulls in 4th gear which isn't ideal. 5th gear is the closest 1:1 ratio. Unfortunately, the dyno was being temperamental and for some reason, this wasn't possible. I'd guess higher numbers would be achieved using 5th gear.

~3700 to ~5700 is 50 whp over stock. After 5700 it seems to increase to 75 whp over stock up to 6500. Shame about the software glitch that showed over 2000 HP after 6500. I think it would've held to ~350 to redline.

Power profile looks pretty solid for a turbo motor!

60+whp gain out of 6psi feels just right.

It confirms the result n54tech has been getting for years that compressor modified turbo, aka stage one, unlocks 20-30whp of peak power on top of a FBO EWG car. Enlarging turbine side (stg2 turbo) should free up more, but spool up would be noticeably effected.

Huge congrats on your perfectly balanced build!

Nice. What kind of boost are you seeing? Does it hold all the way to red line or is there some tapering off?

Thanks Sean. It has the same lag as stock.

Don't know how much boost. It feels like it holds to right about redline.

Well then I'm curious how this would stack up against an M2 with FBO+ps1. Based on what the PS1 has demonstrated on other N55 applications, it seems the results would be very similar to the dinan setup.

Bobby "King of DP sales" at Fabspeed drove it, said it's really fast. I can't argue. It's not twitchy or peaky which was a goal. Just smooth, progressive acceleration throughout the RPM band, almost like a super MPPK oem tune. For me, it's $6k (including $$$$ labor) well spent.
