See if it pulls in a large parking lot. If it doesn't, it's probably the crown in the road causing it.

Although your issue may be related to the road crown, it may be entirely different. I read on a different BMW forum about someone having the same issue as you, with their M2 pulling to the right since new. His post included this sentence: A regional BMW manager says they have had this issue and that the car needed a new steering column (not just a steering rack, although that might help somewhat) due to a spring that caused the pull on the steering column. I am not sure where in the country he is located, but may be something worth looking into, since I didn't see it mentioned in this string. He indicated alignment and messing with other suspension settings did nothing to rectify the issue.

Mine has also pulled to the right since new, now 600 miles. On a flat surface, steering wheel tilts to the right.

Also disturbing is that the car is lower on the front passenger side than the driver side by 3/4 of an inch, measured from top of wheel well to middle of wheel. I brought it in to the dealer for that specific issue and it was "in spec" even though the slope is noticeable in both the driver and passenger seat.

Mine too!

200 miles and mine has a slight pull to the right as well. I'm not too concerned about it though. I'll bring it in at around 500 mi and have them adjust it. My first 500 mi are 'gentle' so don't expect too much uneven wear on the tires.

I assume they checked that the "shipping" blocks in the springs had all been removed prior to the car being put into service. I think someone on this forum members mentioned finding these in their M2 springs; and others even several years later on other cars!

Took my car in last week for the same alignment issue pulling to the right. Tech took a look, and with the advise of BMW tech, they are replacing the steering knuckle (i have no idea what this is). They think it has to do with the positive camber but my car is already at the maximum and couldn't be adjusted any further. So, apparently, a replacement steering knuckle will fix that and allow the camber to be adjusted correctly. or something to that effect.

i'll see what happens next week when i pick up the car.

btw, do you guys hear ticking sounds from underneath the car after it fully warms up? I'm guessing its the exhaust and the metal expanding/contracting from the heat. dealer says this is normal and that since the m2 lacks insulation it is more apparent inside the car. just wanted to confirm with you guys if this is indeed normal.

I hear the ticking sounds. Sometimes I almost think it's the roof, but agree it's coming from under the car. I think it's normal. Not worried about it.

Also, I sometimes have thought my car is pulling right, but it seems to be the crown of the road causing it in most instances. I'm not worried about it. This car is so amazing I'm not going to let my typical OCD ruin any of the experience.

Does the issue gets solved by replacing the steering knuckle?
Thanks in advance...

I did some searching and I found 2 people with this problem that had an F80 M3 and had it fixed with replacement of the swivel bearing(s). I doubt that's the only possible issue, but it worked for a couple people at least when nothing else fixed it.

Same issue here. Took the car into the dealer from my 1200 mile checkup and they adjusted the alignment (wasn't too far out). Still pulling to the right and steering wheel is leaning to the right. Would be interested in hearing if anyone has had any luck getting this resolved.

Just got back from the dealer and the alignment was within specs. They said it could be related to tire pull and rotated the front tires. It appears to drive better, but I haven't heard of issues with tire pull, especially with only 1400 miles

Bleh... got the car back and still same issue. According to them, it has improved (though I can't tell). Standard answer - it's a performance car and it is normal and within spec.

Press the dealer to get it fixed. The issue also happens on the M3/M4. Tell them to contact BMW NA for assistance. They are finally admitting there is a problem. The more people that complain, the faster the issue will get fixed. I'm going on 2 months without my M3 getting fixed now and I work at a dealership.

Supposedly, BMW NA already took a look and that was their answer.

My car had the same pulling to the right issue. After a few visits at the dealership, they eventually replaced the steering knuckle and its all good now.

I thought that the pull to right was to offset the left slanting driver seat.
