Wireless Charging on iphone 6s only works for a few seconds
Hey all, wireless charging seems to only work (blue indicator led) for a few seconds before stopping, thus not really working at all. Anyone know how to fix this?

Do you have a wireless charging case on your iPhone? BMW sells them as an accessory. iPhone doesn't currently have wireless charging capability. New Samsung galaxy phones have it built in. I have an iPhone so had to order a $50 case as well. The iPhone 8 should have it built in.

Shit, no, I don't. It would have been nice to know that before dropping the cash on the option!
btw, I also now drive an M2 and a 335. And live in LA! |

I'm aware of that now... :/
Executive package is kind of a bummer. Prob should have read more about it (my fault), but wireless charging and wifi hotspot are the main reasons I got it. Would have been good to know that 1) you need a special case/phone to wirelessly charge and 2) wifi hotspot is a subscription based service. Lesson learned, haha |

Using wireless charging all the time will reduce your battery life. I don't see an advantage to having it. I need to remove my charging cradle to get some room again in the console.

Rumor has it that the iPhone 8 will have wireless charging when it comes out in September.

As for b), you do pay your cell provider for data...so why would you think BMW would be any different? All that sweet, sweet cash for a service almost no one uses because it's cheaper to hotspot your phone and do it via your carrier... |
