I used all 3, that's what I'd do. It'd be a minor pain to put 2 in and then have to climb back down there and add another. 3 works really well.

Installed mine today. Not a huge difference for me to be honest, however I wasn't pushing the clutch till the end. Now I am
Regarding the installation procedure - very easy, no need for a screwdriver etc., just use one hand. Two minutes max. |

I've had the clutch stop since a week after taking possession of the car. Makes a decent difference, and eliminates the copious dead zone in clutch travel. Made a much bigger difference in my 135i so many years ago. I consider this an essential mod for these cars.
For the life of me I can't understand why BMW would want so much play in the pedal. |

I just installed mine this afternoon on my 2017 m240. Installation was a breeze, though a very awkward maneuver to get down beneath the clutch. The feel is noticeable in a very positive way.

Was curious about this after having my car over 2 weeks. Engagement of clutch is just over half way of pressing the peddle. Thanks for the find. Just ordered.

Just installed. Just get a flashlight and reach through the rubber flaps by the clutch pedal. Pull out the old one, insert the new. I used all 3 washers.
Pretty big difference. The dead zone is gone. The clutch is a lot easier to modulate. |

Just installed mine yesterday with all 3 shims. One of the best mods. Recommend for all manual owners.
Not realized but I guess I mash the peddle with some decent force. The OEM stop was split and deformed a bit with only 5000 miles. This one looks like it will hold up well. |

As a tall person that like to push the clutch all the way in, I feel like this could be the small difference I need to get fully comfortable with my driving position.
Anyone know a source that delivers to EU for reasonable fee? Reasonable being NOT 50$ for a 10$ small piece of plastic like one of the forum sponsors asked me to pay (after placing an order online which states free shipping...) |

I am not going to use mine, and would be willing to ship it to you, the cheapest way possible. |
