MPE with Sports cat - Adding Resonator?

Has anyone out there thought the MPE with a 200cel cat was a bit loud?

I was thinking to weld the original resonator back in to calm it down.

I remember reading that a few people here have welded the secondary res back on in an attempt to combat the drone but I don't believe it worked very well.

Coding out ASD helps a little but it definitely isn't a cure all.

The only real solution would be to reinstall the stock cat or switch exhausts.

Is there really a HP advantage to be had by eliminating the resonator?

I love the MPE with ASD bypassed. No drone or loudness at constant throttle.

What original resonator? My stock MPE is a straight pipe between muffler and DP. Do you mean stock non MPE? Makes sense. I also have considered a small resonator inline.

Disabling cold start has alleviated most of my issues though.

Yes the small resonator from the stock NON MPE. Maybe add it just past the cat. How did you disable the cold start? I am using Bootmod3

Cheers

You could also buy like a Vibrant resonator or whatever too but yeah should help with drone.
