Dang Luc, well... we are all wishing you a speedy recovery. I know it's a long slow road to row. Looking forward to our "next" adventure together.
Btw... I think Rikx1M wants to visit you soon. He has some BMW goodies from our little Alpine adventure gang. David

Earlier this week I convinced my wife - after much insisting - to go drive my car for at least an hour or so (good for the battery and system internals). She was pretty reluctant and had dodged the bullet a couple of times. This time she committed to finally drive it and asked a girlfriend to join her. She even called me when she had fired up the engine. I instructed her right away to put it into "SPORT" mode and to activate the M Performance Exhaust "for better breathing of the car after long inactivity", haha... Subsequently silence covered the skies for a few hours. Then she resurfaced: "Actually, we had a lot of fun, especially in tunnels. We may do this again." There's a chance that later this Summer I will return my car to Belgium. But driven by my brother or a friend, with me in the passenger seat. Can't see myself drive any car before Autumn.

Judging by the RX-imagery earlier this week, I'm still out for quite some time due to my high-energy injuries. Only from next month onwards I'm allowed to start standing on my right leg (incrementally from 0% to 100%). The muscle mass in my right leg is significantly reduced as a result of the (mandatory) inactivity. It will take 1 to 2 years to regain full muscle mass again. The flex angle of that leg will inevitably be reduced (never as high as before the accident), but still functional. Most important is that I did not lose my leg. 'Schatzker Type VI' tibial plateau fractures = long healing & revalidation process.
