That's what I did! Mine is at the detailer now for several days (XPel Ultimate and Quartz pro). I picked it up dirty and partially wrapped from the dealership... My detailer gave me a discount contingent on the dealer NOT cleaning it. Makes his OCD reputation-confirming job easier.

Mine's black but otherwise the same... except black gills and grill. Might add that later. Did the CF mirrors, looks sick.

Still smiling from the hour I had it saturday!

You didn't do hood?

Congrats on the LCI, many automobile experts have said that the LCI M2 is THE model to choose from within the M2 line as it is ultra rare compared to the 16/17 and the M2C, both of whose production numbers have/will far outpace the elusive LCI.

Sorry to get off topic, but there is a lightly used 2018 lci here in Canada listed at 65k (cad$) with 3k kms. How much wiggle room do you think I have ?

I think they made more 2018s than 16-17s. 16 was a short model year and 17 didn't seem like they ramped up that much.

Honestly, in 3+ years, no one is going to discern between lci and pre-lci. The conversation will be M2 vs M2C.

I don't think so but I guess it's possible. The LCI models hit the US in late July/early August of 17 and weren't manufactured for very long.

I was only kidding anyway since I am an LCI'er and want to make myself feel better for having it instead of the M2C.

Well perhaps people will prefer the lighter car and the LCI is the "best" version of that.

Could instead get a nice pressure washer and some other cool toys and products to help take care of your car.
You're going to the wrong installer. All the Xpel installers here use full wrap techniques so that the seems are not visible. Could have easily gotten the pre-cut kit installed for a couple grand.

+1. I have full fenders/Hood/bumper - 0 seams.

Couple grand for full body is absurdly low cost.

Also my understanding is that some panels you don't want the PPF between the panels as the gap is too small and it will pinch and cause problems, so there is a seam at the panel edge. Other places like hood and fenders between doors is easy as the PPF wraps around.

Yes, I was very blown away when I got quotes from the good guys, and part of the reason I ended up with just the front clip of the car. One quote for the whole car came in less than what I paid for the front clip with xpel, that quote was for clearbra or something that was not xpel.

Having paid for both xpel front clip and ceramic, if I were to do it again, would have just done the whole car in xpel wrapped around the edges.
