Take that $2k off list and put it towards full xpel wrap the car. I wish I did the whole car, the front is so god damn easy to keep clean.

Where can you get the whole car wrapped for $2k? I know Bay Area is extremely pricey compared to many other places but I thought it wasn't twice as expensive (aside from housing lol). The cheapest quote I got for a full car wrap was $4K (for M2). $2k for full car is a great deal.

Going straight from the dealership to the detailer. Left instructions for the dealership to not even wash the car.

Put it towards, not pay for it. Cheapest quote I got for a full xpel was $5k, wish I would have gone for it.

So I picked up the car last Wednesday the 13th. For those of you that said I'd love it you were 100% correct. The car feels great on the road in all aspects; power, braking, handling, etc. I have a 330i ZHP, an E46 M3, and an E92 M3 and the M2, for now at least, has jumped to the top of the list.

You get more seams if you do full xpel but obviously you have more protection. I don't think full is worth it personally because seams + additional cost of protecting areas that don't typically get hit with rocks.

Could instead get a nice pressure washer and some other cool toys and products to help take care of your car.

I forgot to mention that I qualified for the fleet incentive so in the end it was 4k off list. I was pretty happy with the deal.

I already have the pressure washer etc to take care of the M3s so all set there, but thanks for the suggestion.

I was concerned that just getting a partial would leave me unduly exposed. I did the front bumper, rocker panels, area just behind the rear wheels, mirrors, rear hips, and back of the trunk lid area. So far so good. We have an advantage in that our front bumper config is such that the most exposed portion of what is normally the hood around the roundel is part of the bumper and so gets wrapped when you do the bumper..
