Couple updates, finally got around to installing the Acexxon rear grills for the reflector spot..
Also picked up a set of 10mm Turner Motorsport Spacers from OBXBMW who had bought but not used yet, he shipped them out quickly and I had them at hand yesterday for the install.. Rear from the top, tried to snap same angle, this gives an idea of the push..

Congrats on the new upgrades. AND pixs. You do an excellent job on same. Guess you will know the next question from ol'zkeeper. Any resolve on the those Fabspeed pipes? Fitment causes?
It appears you have been driving...and you had a cheer on one post that seemed pleased about things. Just curious as you sent it back for them to examine, you must have replaced old system? Or new one has arrived? Thanks for any updates...while you have been playing with autocross, spacers, rear reflectors and doing such a fine job of photography, I have wasted away with no food or sleep now for many days...LOL...help me. |

First off, thanks. For being on the lookout and always dropping a line when I update the thread So today the Bypass and the Sport Cat downpipe hit Florida. I had UPS hold it at their facility since the package requires signature and I would not be at home today. I will swing by in a couple hours to pick up and will share some pics. I have an appointment setup at Auto Tuning House this Friday for the install. So hopefully will have more pics and details on the fitment of the new system. BTW you need to get some food and sleep before you pass out or shutdown.

I have a White 1991 CRX Si which is completely stock down to the stock airbox, exhaust manifold and catalytic converter. Had it repainted and basically brought back to life aesthetically since is was in pristine mechanical shape by the second owner who had it for 23 years and sunk about 26K in documented maintenance.. I am about 6300 into it right now.. it's my current daily driver.. I also have a Black 1985 CRX Si which is not stock, has many brake and suspension upgrades from the Integra of those years plus some modifications to the 1.5l engine. That one I will be wrenching soon.. Been an Honda head for years.. last track car was a Road Racing 1994 del Sol VTEC model. I love the M2 but a true enthusiast appreciates any type of car although I have a soft spot for Honda's. BTW just picked up the package from UPS, I swear the more you mark up a box as FRAGILE the more mailing services beat the boxes up! Will unpack and confirm all is ok!

Hell yeah Honda! First car that made me start getting the mod bug, might actually be a bad thing sine i wasted so much money on the car LOL. Surprised no motor swap in the CRX, you should drop a B18C in one, probably be more fun than the M2

Black one only weighs 1800 pounds, if I drop in a B18C the power to weight ratio will be ridiculous, most likely faster than the M2 in a straight line. That one I bought maybe a year ago but haven't done much. I am following closely a kit being put together to throw a K24 in it. 250whp will be enough for it.. in the meantime I will get the stock engine, which is already modded, to run smooth and enjoy for a while before I decide if I swap it! If you like Honda's you might like this one.. My last track toy, 2200 lbs and about 180whp on a built B16 making power all the way to 9600rpms.. open exhaust

Awesome! I am glad you got your Sport Cat and Muffler Bypass!
Esteban - both my coworker (Travis) and I are in awe of that white CRX. Because like I said we both grew up in the Honda game. I had a 1997 Integra GSR with basic bolt-ons (intake, Skunk2 intake manifold, exhaust) and Travis has built a handful of turbo Honda's as well. It's awesome to see that some people stick to their roots from the modding game even though they have stepped up into cars that have an enormous amount of engineering behind them. I will agree though, there will always be a soft spot when hearing that car rev to 9000+rpms hahaha! |

Regardless the cars I might get into in the future I will always remain humble and remember my car roots.. hopefully I will have a Porsche 911 GT3 in my garage in the near future and I most likely will still have some Honda laying around in the garage to play with..

Any resolve on the FabS Bypass and pipe diameter "line up? issue. We know you got them OK from FabSpeed but curious about the new part and corrections.
Money out here on bets, is there was an incorrect pipe attached at solo end of bypass, that mates up with stock where it was cut. Might have been a bypass for another M car? Could happen-- wrong part was pulled off shelf and shipped? Thanks for any updates. |
