Easy stuff. I work at a dealership so I went ahead and bought the whole switch.

That and I have the grace of a moose when taking small stuff apart.

It took about a minute. I found a video on YouTube where the guy used a credit card around the edge. Worked like a champ.

Removed the factory spoiler using fishing line. This part is quick & easy. FWIW, I noted that there was a gap under the ends of the factory spoiler.

Cleaned off the tape and adhesive, not so quick and easy. It took me several hours but clean and smooth.

Perhaps I am a coward, but heat didn't seem to do the trick for me. I wound up using 3M Adhesive Remover and a credit card. Worked beautifully.

Met up with GreatWhiteM2 and did some coding for him (M2CS Steering, M4 GTS DSC, and Headlight Wash disable), then went out for a drive to experience DCT for the first time in an M2, as well as his tune, and most importantly to me, his AST suspension setup.

His car is gorgeous, pulls so well with his tune and DCT, and it's so comfortable with the AST suspension setup, but also handles incredibly well. GreatWhiteM2 can certainly drive well too!

Shame I wasn't able to drive the car myself, but I don't think I have insurance coverage in the UK; I'm only a listed additional driver on my parent's policy, and have no idea how US insurance works outside the US, so it was safer not to risk it.

Was a fun time though, nice guy, excellent car!
