Order one on May 16, expecting to pick up on November 16 in Canada, every single day is torment.

1M is hell of a car. Too bad you had to sell it.

Well I was thinking about to buy the new M2 at that time and just let 1M gone, now I just hate myself

I traded my 1M for my M2 and don't regret it at all. I love my M2 (I also loved my 1M).

Now in 20 years when the 1M is worth 15 billion dollars? I will have regrets then...

The thing is that we don't have manual transmission M2 in China only DCT, therefore that's why I am so depressed

Good news. I have a DCT tranny and think it's awesome. To go against a lot of the reviews, I think the DCT matches up great with the M2 and I think it's a blast. @RobinNL also likes the DCT.

Count me in as well. I had a 6-MT in my E92 335i, but never driven an M 6-MT (E92M, F82M and F87M all DCT). Love them.

And me

It's probably a 75/25 split in favour of the DCT in the UK and even higher for the f80/82.

It honestly comes down to luck with getting these cars quickly.. I walked in to the dealership on June 23rd and had interest in the M2 and signed papers that day for an allocation and my car was just delivered to the dealer yesterday and pick up is Monday night. So roughly 2 months from signed papers to delivery date

Which part exactly is it that you regret doing? Selling the 1m too early that makes you not have a fun car before m2 comes, or selling it for m2 at all?

Have a little escapade with your former 1M from time to time, as part of the "BMW 1M Detox/Rehab Program".

M 2 to be built week of 9/4... so will have to part with the 1 M (VO..28 k mi) in September or early October . ..waited to ease the pain of letting it go...and shorten the gap. At least I have a Mini DD to have some fun with till the new one comes in.

You looking to sell the 1M or do you already have a buyer? I am sure some here would love to buy it.
