I attended the FLATOUT event in Tulsa this year... there were at least 2 M2 owners there that are certainly well into their 60s.. One is an instructor. Depending on WHEN you drove a Trans Am in the 1980s.. one wouldn't necessarily have to be a senior citizen.. (assuming that begins at 55). I graduated in 1986 and I am not yet 50. I am turning 65 in a few months. I thought I was the top dog in the senior category on this forum, but the M2 gentleman in TX beats me by 10 years. I would be very happy just to be able to drive this M2 for another 5 years. Anything fun that I can have after reaching 70s would be a bonus. Since I have all the free time in the world now, I will be Zoom Zoom in this M2 all over Chicago areas every day and hopefully run into some of you on the road.

You lot make me laugh. Ím 62 and was driving a Triumph TR4 in the 70ˋs. I feel as young as a 25 year old ! This M2 is the most civilized sports car I’ve ever had.

Only 57 and feeling like I need a real sports car while I can still get in one! Figure that is another 10 years of getting into real low cars, which isn't long enough!

At 71 I enjoy my MT M2 as my daily driver and occasionally my wife's Audi RS3. On the weekends my early 911 hot rod gets some exercise too. Age has no bearing on being a car enthusiast.

I really meant that it was the most comfortable and actually has a roof on it, heated seats, a trunk, air conditioning, rear seats, "soft" suspension and is quiet !

It's rumoured that BMW, in recognition of its older customer base, will be offering to replace the cup holders with a denture holder.
