U.K. M2s at independent dealer

BIMMERPOST
     Featured on BIMMERPOST.com
Was driving past a local specialist today and they had a pair of M2s available for sale.

Helpful as I hadn't seen black + grey side-by-side... Hope the pics are useful for anyone interested...

The grey one has some nice carbon bits from the m performance range.

Thanks Corrine. Agree photos on the website much better.

Just thought the pics of both cars together may help anyone deciding between the two (as I am!).

Must admit, I'm tempted by grey even if everyone around me is still sold on black!

Check out grey with black performance parts... That may push you over the edge. I have t seen an M2 like that, but I have seen M4s. MG with black deck spoiler, gills, grill surrounds, mirror caps (maybeH, lip spoiler, diffuser, etc. Those black bits look amazing on an MG car. (Disclaimer, I currently own 3 black cars, so I'm not a black car hater.)

Haha. They must have been hit over the head with the old ale bottle if they think people will pay that for them. Always happens, people think they can make a fast buck off cars they think will be in high demand.

Nice pics though.

Here is a single picture that shows a little of what I mean - tint, black grille surrounds, black side gills - I'd go further still, but this does look great! I stole this picture of Adem1534 's car from another thread.

Yup. The black one there had the black carbon bits on. I'm not convinced by the side skirt extensions or bits that attach to the front bumper. Rear boot spoiler looked good, as did the mirror caps.

I have carbon splitters and mirror caps on my black e90 but they don't stand out as much as the grey.

Yeah. I know what you mean about the winglets and rockers. Starting to go from "classy" to "racerboi" in my view. Sorry to those that have them, to each their own. I like the grey though. I went LBB to change things up - have 2 black cars and a black truck, so I though something different would be nice. You cannot go wrong. Good luck with your choice.

Thanks for the pics.

BSM is out for me, did you think the MG suited the little car with the big booty?

Mineral Grey is the best of both worlds, not too dark where you can't see the lines, but sinister enough that it still looks like it wants to rip your face off

Agree Adem, looking menacing there.

MG is still the only car I've seen.

Agreed nice comparison.

The black one has been languishing on Auto trader for ages and if I'm not mistaken has been reduced in price.Lots of talk about it,but no takers...

Bit of a shame that BMW sales contracts don't specify minimum [6] ownership, like Porsche do in Germany.

True, and with it being a full production run model, you wonder what their thought process is behind it. if someone was in desperate need of a car for commuting, they wouldn't be looking to jump immediately into an M2.

The fact that almost 25% of the UK allocation of GT3 RS's are on auto trader is jaw dropping enough. At least its only around 4% for first year M2 allocations that are up. But of course no where near all deliveries have been made so its higher in reality.
