Is A Special M2C Trunk Required For The Vorsteiner Carbon Wing?

Hey guys and gals, I am thinking about installing the VRS carbon wing for the M4 GTS on my M2 Comp. I saw this setup in person and was blown away. However, I did not have the chance to ask if the owner was running a stock trunk. So, my question is: Do I need a special trunk for the M2 Comp to run a wing on it? I have heard a few people mention that the M Perf wing goes with the M Perf trunk, but I am not sure if that is because it needs to, or if they just fit well together. Thanks!

Here is the link of an M2 Comp with the wing:

Here is the wing itself:

The stock trunk may not be strong enough to support the aero load of a race car wing. The Mperformance trunk (CF) and M235i Racing (and M2 CS trunk I guess) are reinforced to accept a BMW wing. The mounting holes + reinforcements may not match the Vorsteiner wing. The reinforcements stop the top of the trunk from becoming dented.

This Vorsteiner wing is not really designed like a motorsport wing so the amount of DF it generates is probably not that high. I would run it on the stock trunk, if it gets dented by the aero load simply get a body shop to push it back and add reinforcements.
