My car stays in the garage and I don’t drive it when it’s lower than 20F if I have to park outside for a while at my destination, so I can’t tell you how sustained low temps impact longevity. |

And did you try calling other stores without giving them your phone number? I'd want 200 for those tires and I believe you will get that number. |

A week or so ago I posted a brief review of my experience with 18,000 miles of 4S driving. Great tires, I highly recommend them. I suspect I will get about 25,000 out of my rears and perhaps 30,000 out of the fronts. I have gone to a dedicated track wheel/tire setup to help preserve these tires, they hold up pretty well to track work but of course those heat cycles will take a toll.

Are you running spacers upfront with your OE 9" wheel / 265 tyre combo ?

I switched from the stock Michelin SS w/ 6500 miles on the clock (still have them for sale btw) to the PS4's because of the traction issue that I had w/the SS's in the rain.
I talked w/ Rudy at Tirerack.com and he was right. The PS4's are much better in the rain - and more quiet overall. |
