M2 Intake

How many of you have added an intake system to the M2? I'm more interested in amping-up the sounds of the N55 and the turbo waste gate/blow-off valve sounds that the factory has quieted-down. My M4 made great turbo sounds under boost and dropping throttle (blow-off/diverter valve). I'm less concerned w/the performance upgrade, but a few more ponies wouldn't hurt.

Thanks in advance!

Do you have a JB4?
If so go with Injen or BMS

If you dont have a JB4, go with CTS (only open intake guarantee not to throw a CEL code)

We carry all three

No heat soak with the CTS? Online, it mentions that there could be gains of up to 10-15 horsepower. My understanding is that the standard box is about as good as it gets. Any real gains? or is it basically just the sound?

thank you

You do get a better sound and a slight HP increase with open intakes.

There's a post here somewhere from one guy, early on, who got a CEL but it turned out to be a one-off manufacturing defect in the intake. From what he posted Eventuri took good care of him and corrected the issue. I have not heard of anyone else getting a CEL.

BTW guys, Mike at X-PH took great care of me on an order a few months back. I would not hesitate to buy from him again!

If you have an N55, the intake is the same. So you're welcome on this thread!

I have a BMS intake on my F10 535. Can I just move it over to the M2?

I ran it for over 1.5 years with no tune. My vehicle was used for R&D. Same with their fmic, that was ran for well over a year before I went BM3 with no issues.

I saw on their Instagram they're having an online Black Friday sale as well.

Mike at X-PH is always great to work with so I'm sure he can help you too
