Such a weird thread this one.

All 3 M2s are great. If it wasn’t for the first one there wouldn’t be the other two models. Bonus points, the original one is what sold me on the car when I placed my pre order on the M2C.

I also like the GC8 WRX and still have mine. Don’t like any of the later models though. Same applies to Evo. That ended for me at Evo VI. That was a great car.

I like how the M2 CS sounds. It’s subdued most of the time but sounds good when you press the pedal. No better or worse than the original one really. I get my sound thrills from my Aston but that’s for special occasions.

F87 M2 is one of the best M cars of all time regardless of model. Rejoice in it.

1M has a N54, I guess not an M car?
3rd Letter in VIN is S, Manufactured by BMW M GmbH, I guess not an M car?
A skunkworks part bin project for M to bolt the chassis from the M3/4 to a small tossable frame, while making the factory mods to endure track duty, in other words, the embodiment of the spirit of M, I guess not an M car?

The OGM2 is the only one that payed the most homage to the E30 M3, E46 M3, and1M. Many cosmetic items changed after LCI, even more after BMW was forced to go S55 due to emissions.

Let them bash. It's fun to see.
