LOL i was like WTH too but here's what i think this means. When headlights are on, the signal lights will be off and only come on when turn signal is used. But the bulbs still need to be swapped out to fix the OCD issue during the day

Yes coding the car with e-sys. Get an OBD to RJ45 cable and change parameters on the ECUs.

I turned those bulbs off. Just the halos now, no more orange bulbs. Nice and clean look.

I coded a bunch of things. Removed the idrive disclaimer, seat belt alarms, LEDs on door handles on reverse, fold mirrors via fob and comfort access, stuff like that.

Heres a list of what I did -

Remove idrive disclaimer
Disable seatbelt alerts
disable seatbelt icon in dash
Roll windows up/down via FOB
Roll windows up via Comfort access
Fold/unfold mirrors via FOB and comfort access
Disabled side amber lights (blinkers still function)
Increased halo brightness from factory 8% to 100%
Close windows on rain detection
LED under doors handles on reverse
Disabled headlight washers
Enable video playback while driving
GPS sync for clock

Least everything I Can remember for now

My very unscientific observation- coding the halos to 100% makes them pretty darn bright! Mine is coded to not dim the halos when headlights are on. Looked at them yesterday, at dusk. Halo's seemed brighter than the HIDs...

I meant the circular halos themselves. I'm about to go in on some OSS Designs Iconic Custom Halos. Would like to see what you achieved with yours first.

your DRLs run at 100% so you can compare those.

Halos at night are only 8.... so I got mine to 100. You can do whatever % you want via coding.

Also, looks much better without the orange
