All you can expect to check some vessel carriers (ie Wallenius Wilhelmsen) offers some detailed tracking. They usually update whole vessel load of cars, and once they all exit from VPC, they will update the status of your VIN as "delivered from" after status of "discharged" Not sure how it works in US, but in Canada all vehicles will be loaded on rail cars using railway company called "CN". By searching by VINs, you will be able to see if your vehicle departs from VPC heading to local rail terminal where vehicles gets loaded by truck carrier and delivered to dealer. CN tracking will be only available to those who have the account with CN already which is not opened to public. There I am helping Canadian folks to track their cars on CN which is usually completed unknown unless you know someone who can track using CN account. |

Note that if you are looking at the WWL tracking info, the dates/times that show up on the website are not accurate.
To clarify further - the website shows the date and time that the website/tracking system itself got the update about the ship, not necessarily the date and time that the ship made it to location X. So you'll get an update on 12/12 saying "arrived at port," but it may have actually arrived the day before and the tracking system just didn't update with that info until 24hrs later. The tracking system effectively runs about a day behind "real life."
