M2 has diff tires sizes - No rotation needed?
I just realized the M2 have different tires sizes between the front and the rear. I think the rear tires are wider. Should we still do tires rotation to have even wear?

But seriously, no. 245 up front 265 in the back. You can go with a square set up if you want to rotate for track days, but do not rotate as is! You'll find a tree or ditch pretty quickly...too much oversteer.

BMW recommends no rotation: each tyre should be always used exactly in the same position for best handling/performance. In case of replacement both tyres on the axle should be changed to maintain equal wear and thus proper handling. Furthermore, "to maintain good vehicle handling, always fit tyres of the same make and thread pattern to all wheels" (handbook).

Not in all cases - a fair amount of tire models are unidirectional.

Suspension geometry is a big factor. Not even sure what a four wheel steering car's requirements are....even in my old 535 it wasn't recommended to rotate.
