adding negative camber on front axles using OEM parts
Camber correction hub carriers are common upgrade option on F2x and F3x.
Anyone done the same for F8X using part no's 31217853639 [LHS] and 31217853640 [RHS] or does M2 come with these fitted as standard ? http://www.realoem.com/bmw/enUS/show...diagId=31_1121

I have not swapped hub carriers, but I was under the car the other day and took a picture of the passenger side carrier. The stamped part number matched the original carrier number (ie 31212284002). It certainly doesn't seem my car was delivered with the hub carriers with the extra camber.
https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B8s...ew?usp=sharing $1000 for half a degree of camber seems crazy, but might be worth it to remain in street class autocross. |
