This may not be the right thread for this question, but had a question specific to the M2 PE.
My dealer is trying to get my production number for a MY2018, but now asked if I would be interested in this one. I purposely left out the codes for the standard equipment. I cannot find codes ZPF or VTR in the pricing or ordering guides. Is ZPF the deletions to accommodate ZL9? Curious as to how this compares to others. Production date: 3/6/17 Prod. No.: 0568712 In Service Date: VH Port Loc.: PHMPOA Dest. Loc.: 00016418 Model: 172R M2 Coupe MSRP: $52,500 Color: 300 Alpine White Upholstery: LCNL Black Dakota Leather ZPF Performance Edition Package N/C 2MK M Double-clutch Transmission with Drivelogic $2,900 7ME M Driver's Package $2,500 ZL9 Performance Edition $6,500 Net Total $64,400 Destination Charge $995 Total Suggested Price $65,395 Premium Window Tint $399 VTR $185 Market Adjustment $5,000 Total $70,979 |

I paid MSRP with no dealer prep fees or any other crap and came with a 60 day temporary tag, MSRP out the door, got it in May, no regrets.

Actually is there a way, OP seems convinced but I wouldn't think there was, unless it goes down to a production number stamp under the hood?

Hey guys, thanks for the follow up.
No, I'm not willing to pay any 'market adjustment', which I interpret as 'dealer greed'. If the car is that popular & demand dictates such action, someone else will be driving it. This particular car was listed at $65,395 the day they put it on the lot. I looked at it before returning home to research the PE version. Went back to the dealer & it was now being offered at $70,979. I passed on it. The car was in the showroom for 3 weeks, now it's gone. I've seen a few posts where guys have gotten one for MSRP or below. Hmmm... maybe it's time for a different dealership. |

Same...when I priced it out separately the 12 items in the package would cost CAD $25.5K. So at $17K it seemed like a decent deal - eventhough there are items I wouldn't necessarily order separately...until I confirmed that you don't get the original stock set of rims and tires and you only get the MPerf wheels and SC2 tires. BMW is keeping the stock set. Um...Pass.
