I couldn't decide between these two colors, so I bought white.

MG is definitely more of a sleeper look.

I was originally going to go with LBB however seeing the color under bright sunlight swayed me towards AW with no regrets. I didn't like the fact that LBB changes color all the time, especially the disgusting Turquoise hue it has under sunlight. IMHO, LBB is a color one must experience in person to decide if they really like it or not, it just didn't do it for me. I kinda regret not going with MG because this color actually does the best at showing off the body lines plus it flows under the radar along with BSM.

When first looking into buying this car I wanted LBB. Then I saw an X6 in it and totally hated it. Too much turquoise for me. A few weeks later I saw an M2 in LBB drive by me and that confirmed it. Sorry but it just doesn't do it for me. Like red interior it's good for a week but eventually I'd want to slit my throat

Not dull at all. I would have picked MG if it weren't for the fact we also have an MG X1. The argument for LBB is it's a bit hotter and M-specific. MG is the only colour that works with a red interior. The rest are either superman (LBB/red) or 90s (black/red). AW is boring and way too common, every second BMW it seems. Black is possible to keep clean.
That said I absolutely love mineral grey. If you keep it clean, it's a stunning colour with tons of depth. It reflects light beautifully and suits BMW lines. I really can't recommend it enough. I've had lots of grey cars.. an SGM 135i, DG 325is back in the day, a Daytona Grey pearl S4, SG STi, nothing compares to mineral. It's an excellent colour. The only grey's I prefer are telesto grigio and nardo. Set your MG off with nice silver wheels and it will pop, classic BMW.

I'm not overly thrilled with any of the color choices so I ordered AW. This way I won't feel like I wasted $700 if I decide to have it painted another color.

I actually get comments about LBB. Like if it was special ordered from BMW. Definitely stands out and not in a bad way as the comments don't come from ricers.

GRAY: If you have a gray car, you know there’s a difference between silver and gray.
“The gray car driver doesn’t want to stand out,” Marcie Cooperman says. “And between silver and gray, the latter is more nondescript. Gray doesn’t need (or want) to be as flashy as silver, projecting more dignity, tradition, and maturity.” You care less about status and more about the status quo. Gray is also the color of caution and compromise. You’d prefer life to run on an even keel rather than with big ups and downs. People dig you, because you are cool. BLUE: If you own a blue car, you are compassionate, optimistic, stable, honest, and serene. You like to be admired for strong sense of self and wisdom. Sally Augustin points out that “the minivan mom may choose blue, which projects a nice, stable family appearance.” Although you may be suspicious of flamboyant behavior, you are introspective and sensitive enough to try to find common ground with someone you may not relate to at first. You may also be Bi-curious. |

As an MG owner, I think the car looks its very best in shadows, early morning or night, especially with a good coating or polish on. LBB stands up to the direct, bright sunlight better--it really pops. But the MG in shadows is just elegant.

Man, they're both great. It's hard to pick. Brighter colors wear on me eventually, though.
