Any updates on this?

Can someone shoot me a pm. All I want is a pure stage 2 with whatever else I need for it to work on regular 93 pump gas because that's what I use daily. So what do I need besides the actual turbo off of the website and (a downpipe which I have being installed now along with a tune)?

If someone could pm me and let me know exactly which options on the pure website to purchase let me know. Thanks a lot. Hope this turns into a thread of more info sooner than later again

Not sure if you found your answer...but you can run about 17 psi (450 whp) with the stock fuel system. If you want more power, you'll want to upgrade the fuel system.

So JB4 and a DP are all you need, at least for those power levels.

Sorry if this was covered but to clarify - with this larger turbo upgrade and a DP and the tune through the JB4 on 91 octane you can make over 400whp? No other mods? Just turbo and a dp and tune?

While some have struggled on 91 from what I'm reading, others have reached those numbers. 360 whp on map 1, over 400 whp with higher boost targets.

There's a lot of dynos out there, but I've seen a lot of comments those are about what you'd be looking at.

Flash tunes and more octane would help that a lot I'm sure.

I'd just google Pure Stage 2 N55 and look at what some people are saying.

Not sure anyone would run PS2 on 91 (time ticking bomb)

JB4/DP and PS2 will not do 450whp at 17psi on 93

I've seen personal friends of mine do 496/500 STD smoothing 5 or 480/480 Uncorrected with 21-22psi & E60 (PI) on m235 FBO awd/Auto, Enzo Backend Flash + JB4

Another friend did 487/555 then 496/570 Uncorrected with 100% E85 at 25ps

That's what's frustrating as we only have shell 91. they don't carry 93 anywhere in the city. There is the odd Husky station that carries the 94 with 10% ethanol blend.

You can add E85 to 91 to up the octane, and 94 octane should be add more E85 and up the octane as well

91 shouldn't be a ticking time bomb but it will make less power when tuned.

Its not on stock turbos or maybe if flash tune is tuned for it, but once you go upgraded turbos thats a different story and haven't seen anyone running turbos w/ 91 octane

Called their office twice to inquire about upgrades. I left a message both times. No return calls. I think I'm going to find another company to work with.

little teaser. I am running full bolt ons, pure stage 2, BM3 93 oct map... Dyno chart will be in a week or two. Car feels absolutely insane. I originally thought I would also be going the e85 pi or meth route... honestly my current set up is scary fast.

Haha hopefully man. Waiting on availability and options by end of winter to choose to hopefully have ready for spring. Getting kind of mixed feelings about this vs. dinan big turbo. Hard to decide

Yeah I don't mind ethanol - But you're right I was wanting shell 93. I don't feel so bad now that you say you don't even have it in Toronto. It's really too bad as those setups seem to really want the extra 2 octane. I guess if I went with the upgraded turbo etc. it would be worth going out of my way to a Husky station for the 94 octane. No point in spending all that money to let the type of gas mean the difference in 40 hp or whatever it is.

What's the difference between the N55 PS2 and the M2 Specific PS2. Why would one opt for the N55 specific one when keeping your core cost 3k instead of 1k for the regular N55 PS2.

What changes were made to triple the cost of keeping your core. I'm trying to decide here what the best option is and while I was highly considering this option it seems kind of ridiculous to be triple the price to keep your stock core.

My main concern is that I want to keep my stock turbo just encase and I haven't seen any real world info yet showing why one would purchase the M2 specific PS2 over the N55's?

If I'm mistaken and it's completely different please correct me and I would love to learn why but I'm just confused and want to make a decision as Dinans Big turbo seems like a good investment as of now due to the warranty and known stability of the turbo and OEM feel.

Please tell me something that'll explain why the core charge is 3k vs 1k on the M2 PS2 vs the N55 PS2. Pretty sure if I'm not mistaken they are the same stock factory turbo from bmw.

Thanks for the information in advance hope to hear back!
