If not, go sit in any 2 series and then come back. Until then you're just speculating and coming off like a douche with an M3 complex. I've had my car for well over a year and not once has it even been remotely noticeable...it's maybe 2 or 3 degrees offset. |

Same goes for the marginally angled seats (dubbed 'crooked seats'): you won't notice the angle, except if someone points it out for you and/or you focus on it. [In the meantime everyone is checking his/her nose... True fact of science though]

hogger, Your OCD is on a different planet if the seat will bother you. Looking down at the seat, I can see it. However when I drive the M2, I don't notice it at all. |

I also have an E36 M3 and completely agree with you.
However, my vaders were badly out of shape so I decided to put aftermarket seats in it and the driver's seat is way off center. However, I didnt feel it after a few days. I have not sat in an M2 yet, but I'm quite certain it cannot be more off center than the seat in my E36. |

E36 M3...simple, great handling/road manners, not too much power.....no electronic distractions..no nanny's..just a well balanced car! Agree!
Still have 2 E36's! Glad you like your new M2. Crooked seat and all! I never noticed and don't really care! I have a 6MT and ignore/turn off the tv screen on the dashboard. I like to feel the car, hear the engine, and pay attention to the road when I drive. I barely know how to turn on the AC! Now in my Audi Q7...I would have a s**tfit if the seat was crooked....I better go look |

The crooked seat doesn't bother me in the least, unnoticeable really. Was kidding that the seat angle may improve your line of sight through turns. Maybe if the seat swiveled and was tied to a four wheel steering system....aha, think of the possibilities! |

Would have otherwise definitely noticed you guys! I usually pay attention to oncoming traffic, especially bikes, on 2 lane roads !!! Q7 seat is bone straight! I think the chassis is tilted to the left though! |

Yeah I do the same thing, especially when on two wheels as people do cross the line now and then. Hope you can get that chassis straightened! Cheers |

2018 LCI Crooked driver seat??
Hi all,
I have my set on production at week 44. And I already cant wait until I receive the VIN and tracking it every minute until I seat behind her wheel. I initally had week 30 allocation and was expecting to receive the car mid-Sept (In Toronto, Canada), but my dealer did not fully check the specs of the car that I ordered as it was cycled into MY18. And he did forget to put adaptive LED which was a must for me. So I ended up asking for another allocation that they have and now still sitting and waiting for my real M2 LCI. Putting away sad story, one question just popped in my head. Knowing that M2s before MY18 had crooked driver seat, wondering if that has been fixed for LCIs... Does anybody know?? |

The M2 is a great car this issue should not distract from how great it is. Interestingly nobody every brought this up on the other 2 series models. |

Completely agree with above. I am 6"1' and a lot older than most of you, and there is simply no problem with these seats and placement. I even tried to find a problem, worked at it, and I see no problem. Had the 128M and the M235, and all is fine. Worry not.

I am 185CM and have no issues, I actually already had the car and did not notice anything, and still don't only, found out about the seat after having the car for some months...non issue.
