The most noticeable difference is the longer wheelbase of the M2 compared to the Z4. The M2 feels more planted and soaks up imperfections in the road much more easily. It allows for more confidence and a car that easier to reach high speeds in (M2).

I wasn't paying as much attention to body roll so I can't comment fully, neither car has a whole lot of it.

Biggest change between the two is seating position (LOW inside the cockpit feel in Z) and the hydraulic ca electronic steering. Hydraulic always wins

Sounds good. Biggest complaint I had with the Z4M was how unsettled it became over bumps. That and the 2nd gear 6MT issues.

Yes - the overall composure is vastly improved and the M2 has some CF pieces in the shifter assembly to make it very pleasant to use.
