Nice video, what a hooligan! Anyone know whether that is stock or aftermarket exhaust? Either way, sounds great. One of the things I really appreciated about driving in England was the yellow light flash before getting a green light. Got everybody revving and ready to go.

Upon seeing this M2 video my mind sweetly drifted away to the short movie "C'était Un Rendez-Vous" ("It Was A Date") filmed by Claude Lelouch on a quiet Sunday morning in August 1976 in Paris: no dialogue, just the car speaking for itself in an insane way. Cult movie for petrol heads. Man, that sound - though clearly dubbed (the car moves slower than the dramatic engine sound suggests) - is outright *glorious*. Back in the day, the movie got the film producer into hot water with the French authorities for obvious reasons (see here).
Turn up your speakers and enjoy !

It's too bad he had to sell his M2. He made makes great videos and comes across as a humble and genuine guy. I was looking forward to seeing more his work on the M2.
Thanks for sharing!

Sorry slightly but ...
I still watch the Getaway in Stockholm series from time to time. Some of them are on the tubes: |

A sudden change in his circumstances from what he said in a previous video. He already has an M135i, so running both was probably not an option right now.

Reminds me of the tunnel run days. 6am start in central london on a Sunday, TVRs, Ferraris and anything with a fruity exhaust driving round a deserted london taking in as many tunnels as possible.
Great fun! |
