Proudly open your M2 doors again
75% of the door-panel surface consists of a rather hard and somewhat shiny plastic. To compensate for this appearance, we have upholstered it with a highly bendable, 1.3-mm- thin synthetic strip with the original Alcantara and added it to the existing delivery programme. The premium metamorphosis that this subtle Alcantara strip has caused is almost unimaginable!

Looks interesting, I'll need to study the photo's. What mechanism keeps the trims in place? If it's glue I would worry the glue might dry out and start to detach over time.

Does that restrict the opening of those door-side pockets? I put my keys and wallet there so there is a lot of in and out of those areas.

I like the look. If you look at the website it's more obvious how the vertical part really continues the lines of the door detail.
I'd just worry about durability. I keep my sunglass case in the back corner and it wedges in a touch (which is nice as it stays put). I'd think that would wear the nap off the alcantara pretty quickly.

I like these, but I'd prefer just polar blue stitch to match the rest of the interior. There are too many ///M badges all over the place already, don't need more tricolor on the door.

That's a fair point about the blue stitching, the tricolor on the door is optional (thankfully) !
