Making the stock blue-brake rotors look nicer.
Anyone had any success in polishing the stock blue-brake rotor hats? The 2NH rotors look so much nicer than the standard rotors because the bell is lightly polished from the factory, and the ///M logo and top beveled edge is die cut. I'd like my stock blue-brake rotor hats to look the same, but the crevices are very difficult to get to. Thinking of using some Eagle One etching mag wheel cleaner on them first, then hand polishing? Thoughts?

A wire brush in an electric drill is probably the easiest way to get the sort of finish you want? Will require maintenance, but less painful that the hand polishing approach.

I purchased some Eagle One etching wheel cleaner to see how it does on the hats. |
