Just a call from my CA that it's there and being prepped for me to take delivery tomorrow afternoon. He sent me a teaser pic! Problem is, I'm not on Facebook or any social media so I have no way of posting it. Anyone know of a free, easy, place to upload photos so that I can grab the URL and post here?

Just picked up my LBB 6 speed manual M2 today. A little touch and go driving it on some of our snowy roads but managed to safely get it home and into my garage.

Congrats. I think the whole week 43 production run got Conti tires. They may not be the Pilots but nevertheless they are still great tires.

Yeah, they are just fine. It's in the low 40s and raining here in Seattle and I'm zipping around just fine on them.

The requisite "I just picked up my first M" photo! Me on the left in gray. My CA, Kevin, in blue and my new best friend in MG. (The bow was my wife's idea. She likes to make fun of just about every situation I'm trying to take seriously)

Lots to get used to, especially coming off 27 years of owning nothing but Japanese cars which all do everything about the same. Turn signal and wiper actuation is totally bizarre to me in the BMW. Also just turning the car off is a mystery. I'm never quite sure I have everything powered down as so many things stay on after you shut the engine off. No complaints; just adjusting to my new environment. Going to go for a long drive today to work out some of the kinks. Oh, and fair warning, that little button above the engine start/stop button that has an "A" in a circle with the words "Off" = Auto engine start stop at lights. Accidentally pushed it and it scared the crap outta me the first time I pulled up to a light and my car died. Ha ha ha!

I can't match this, but I CAN say that as of 5 minutes ago, I KNOW that my car is stateside!! Dealer sent me the proof. At VPC today, arrives at dealer on the 15th. Install some goodies, then truck from Alabama to Seattle. Glory be!!

Sorry. He didn't send a pic of the car, just the notice of delivery to the VPC. And the VIN matches . Dealer won't get it until truck delivers on the 15th.

I'd be checking with your dealer soon, though!
