Veterans and family join USAA save 1k on your M2

Not sure if everyone knows but if you are a USAA member you get a $1,000 discount on your M2. If your a veteran or family of a vet this is a good reason to join USAA, they also have great insurance and other products. Its free to join and its a nice reward for your service so I recommend joining if eligible.

Wish I had checked out USAA years ago. My auto insurance was reduced by a third from the rate Liberty Mutual charged plus I will get the $1,000 discount on my M2.

I don't think you can join as family of a vet unless that vet is already a member.

I believe you are correct. Not the same organization but I had to have my dad join Navy Federal so I could become a member because even though I am a veteran I didn't qualify because I was not active duty, reserve or retired. I suppose someone could get their family member to join so they can become a member. I force my kids to become members of both USAA and NFCU because the benefits of membership in both organizations are very good.

I wish I could join! My 96 yo maternal grandfather was 20 years in the Army Air Corps/Air Force and a D Day survivor. My deceased paternal grandfather was Navy in the Pacific during WWII. And my deceased father was 3 years in the Air Force. But sadly I still don't qualify. Oh well I am so very thankful for my family and all others who have served our country. I am grateful for organizations that recognize their service.

I used the USAA car buying service and they also offered a 36 month .9 % loan, however, it did not cover the full price, but close enough for me.

Anyone else having problems generating the discount code from the USAA site? I've tried a couple times now over the past 2 weeks and it always says it's temporarily unavailable.

Never-mind, guys. Operator error. Turns out USAA was missing my home phone number, which BMW requires. Quick call to USAA had it sorted and I have my offer code in hand.

Was going to use this option but the wife through work had a BMW fleet discount that saved me 1500. Sad part is it specifically said I couldn't use the USAA rebate with it ?

FYI-I believe this offer applies to extended family as well, if you are related to someone who serves/ has served.
