PTF BM3 FlexFuel Kit **NEW PRODUCT**
We are proud to bring out this truly awesome product that makes getting the required Flex Fuel hardware on your BMW with incredible ease and minimal effort, in your own driveway, with FREE shipping included anywhere in USA / Canada. Our kit is entirely plug and play with the factory vehicle harness. No cutting, splicing or de-pinning OEM wiring/connectors. It installs in 5 minutes and can be removed without a trace on the car in even less time! Our team used SolidWorks to design a Flow Optimized Flex Fuel Sensor Adapter (FFSA) to ensure fuel flow is unobstructed and with no added pressure drop at full fuel pump flow from the fuel tank to your motor when our kit is installed. This is important when pushing the factory fuel system with all the power Ethanol can provide over petrol! Flex fuel sensor housing is designed to neatly install into the factory BMW fuel hat location. It features top of the line fuel hose manufactured and pressure tested in house by industry leaders in fuel line components, XRP. Flex Fuel Sensor Adapter also contains two 1/8 NPT ports that allow installation of an auxiliary Fuel Pressure sensor for vehicles that don’t come with an OEM one from the factory for future use. Depending on fitment, either port can be used. Install the BM3 Flex Fuel Plug and Play Kit and flash your flex fuel enabled BM3 OTS MultiMap or Custom Map in minutes and you’re off to the races never worrying about alcohol/petrol blend % in your fuel tank. It does not get better or easier than this! BM3 FlexFuel Plug and Play Kit: 5mins to install at home as opposed to hours at a shop with car up on lift fabricating/cutting into factory fuel lines and splicing/cutting/pinning into OEM electrical 4+ hours in time/cost savings to get going on Flex Fuel as compared to most other kits that require making custom fuel lines, fittings and custom wiring! Very cool, it is like the MHD kit without the hoses, much cleaner and more robust with these fittings.

Hell yeah! Now we’re talking!
Am I reading correctly/incorrectly that we can measure LPFP psi with this setup? If so, what additional sensor and setup is needed? Last edited by ZM2; 12-03-2021 at 09:47 PM.. |

Thanks Mike!
Just got it installed. Super easy, no issues, but it's funny how PTF & MHD say it only takes 5-10min. It took me about an hour all-in, including seats in/out, flashing, cleanup, etc., but I also take my time. Car is ready for E49 and 93 logs tomorrow (want daylight so I can see any smokies). I now know it's E49 in my tank at the moment bc my tach tells me so! Pretty cool. Last edited by ZM2; 12-20-2021 at 04:17 PM.. |

Is there an install guide for this? I tried following the Keis video for my M2 but my car ran for over 5 mins with the EKP disconnected without running out of fuel from the lines, so I’m guessing I need to do something else.
Kind of frustrating to receive a product with zero instructions… Edit: I started the car again and it stalled after another 30 seconds. I guess I just didn’t wait long enough. Last edited by Dec540; 12-21-2021 at 10:04 PM.. |

The MHD Flexfuel sensor install video essentially follows the same process. |

All sorted now. The only problem I have so far is that I have E85 in the tank. The app doesn’t seem to be logging ethanol content and as my dash only goes to 7k rpm it’s not possible to tell the exact content.

My sensor signal is cutting out intermittently. I've reinstalled it and tried everything.
Dash display shows signal bouncing between 0 and actual. Confirmed in this log. I did feel the engine change mid pull when it happened. Thought it was my hpfp dipping or traction. https://www.bootmod3.net/log?id=61b2...729b76b2c892ba Seems to be at its worst on cold starts, the rpm will literally go up and down as I watch the dash ethanol display go up and down at the same time. It comes and goes, sometimes it's completely stable other times it acts up. Idle was rock solid before I did the install. No other changes. The needle crashes to 0 and I hear the idle change, and when it recovers the idle changes back and it repeats a few times before stopping. Support ticket opened with PTF. Hoping it's just a bad harness or something but really wish I could rely on the sensor. I'll keep the throttle tame until I am confident the signal isn't going to cut out mid pull again like it did in the log. Anybody else have this happen?

I haven't been able to flash the updated version 1.2 Stg2+ Multimap due to some other issue preventing me from flashing any map at all. Both issues are being addressed so once I can flash again and can get that update I'll let you guys know if it fixed the flexfuel issue.
