Saw this weird issue on my 437m where the paint in the inner rim appears to be rubbed off; exposing the alloy.

Question is if anyone else experiencing this or know what caused it? It looks like tires rubbing on them upon compression

Okay to leave untreated?

Are you mounting & dismounting these yourself?

I’ve seen this caused by dealers/shops when swapping tires or when taking off the wheels in general.

No but I am not the original owner either so not surprised that was the case. Interesting enough the front of the wheel/rim is immaculate

Yea, I’m pretty sure I’ve seen this with the tire machines or if they just let them rest on the ground. Ultimately, it’s pretty normal and nothing you need to prevent mechanically.

But I’d remove and deeply clean each wheel and most of that will disappear
