Bought a Ford F150 Raptor
Even though my M3 is now gone, I come to this forum time to time to check the news.
Me, I traded my 2016 M3 for a 2018 Ford Raptor I was looking at the new 2018 X3 40M BUT that car still far away from looking bad ass, and I don't have X5 M money, so the Raptor was a solid choice.

The issue is, no dealer has allocations on Raptors these days, and what they have in stock is $70K + dealer's over charge Now a raptor can either cost you $62 (my case) or 100K with all options and markup, just insane!

If I don't, resale value may decrease specially for the hard core raptor guys If I do, $500 dollars later I could have reliability issue due the new technology, and remember that the truck has only 36K miles warranty My dealer told me that not a single Raptor buyer have asked about that option, but the 802a package already includes it, which is a 10K option with taxes, what a rip-off!!! What are your thoughts?

Ford does not do the bed liner at factory, they send to a contractor that bids on those installs, and the quality is bad in comparison to a nearby shop that does the spray Also, for a truck that big, 360 cameras is almost a requirement to park in the city (if you ever drive there) Even off-road, if you want to see the rocks ahead, the front camera is a MUST.

FYI, there are very strong rumors Ford is coming out with a 7.0 V8 version of the Raptor at the end of this year. It will be a 2019 MY. Not sure if that matters to either of you, but I thought I'd throw it out there.
Also after a F80 and F82 (and a sort of lemon 16 GT350) I'm in a 17 GT350 and very happy with it. |

The Turbo V6 isn't bad (much better sounding than the I6 M3/M4) but the sound of the V8 would be better Looking forward ----- a V8 Raptor and a GT350 in my garage. Two Fords in my side of the garage --- who'd a thunk it |

As for pricing I’m guessing it certainly won’t be cheaper than the current TTV6. I would’ve never guessed I’d have two Ford’s side by side either. I’ve always liked the F150s, but as a lot have said, I never really considered a Mustang until the GT350 or any Ford car for that matter. |

I lurk on here at your GT350 comments and follow closely. Also joined the mustang6g.com forum and watch that as well. These cars look so good in pictures but I was blown away seeing them in person. Striking wide aggressive stance. Thanks for the info |

Worst case scenario, i will sell my raptor for the same amount of money that I paid and get a 2019 as Im paying MSRP and not 10K over sticker

Look, I loved my M3, not just ANY kind of love, I loved with passion, but cars should work for you and not you for them.
I recently got divorced and I see myself caring kid's bikes and other stuff in my M3, also I have being caring more people with me on travels (friends, kids and chicks), where the M3 is just not cutting anymore. I live in New England, in the winter the car would be stuck in a garage for 4 month till the weather allows. I wished I had the $$$ to have both, but that is not the case anymore. I have done an extensive research and weighted my needs, and the Raptor with the crew cab does check every single box: - Looks - Power - Fun to drive - Spacious - Easy to get in and out of any weather situation - Great resale value - HUGE trunk / bed space - All creature comforts available as option - Last but not least, you can tow stuff, like my KTM SuperDuke 1290R along will all bags and bicycles. Got it?
