Just a point of data, I've been running the decibelmeter iphone app under various configurations and a "cold" start, meaning with the car not warmed up.

I ran it at 54F and 34F, and got exactly the same reading. This is not the same as the difference between 60 and 10, but TBH I would have expected it to be louder at the colder temp too. Sounds like it but I guess not if you trust the app.

Anyway, just a little information to add to the pile.

I'm getting a boot mod tune and they can disable the cold start. I live and work on underground parking and it blares car alarms every single time. Just too annoying.

I did code it out by BM3 the 3rd year, I remember my neighbor gave me a watermelon the next day for no reason LOL.

Tip for Electronic valve exhausts: turn ignition on(no starting), open the valve, press clutch then start the car. = GTS roar plus+
