Very unique. Love it.

What are the specs on the Work wheels? Who did your brake calipers?

If you run around with us at speed up in the mountains you’ll bottom out and probably crash at some point

Anyway, you be you… But one day you’ll probably realize exactly what I am saying

As far as the JDM reference…

That’s the last thing I’d want to do to the image of my M Car

-And wheels like Ray’s / Volk Racing 💯 belong on a Nissan or Honda

Maybe consider Vorsteiner or something upscale… You’ll be glad you did
In my opinion this sounds like you don't know much about performance, lowering the car significant improves handling if you combine it with a proper coil over kit.
I can't see a car here that is slammed to the ground. To be honest, I was on a track day last week, and most cars were lowered and with good suspensions just took curbs without effort.

To me, most people saying the drive fast on mountain roads - drive behind me on a track.

And to the Wheels topic, I was in the same boat as you, but owing JDM cars and Euro cars I can tell you, most wheels you might consider US or German brand are actually made in Taiwan. So are a segment of Volk/rays wheels (not all).

I mean BBS was bankrupt the 3rd time, everyone is moving to produce cheaper. At the end, the wheels on your car might be more JDM then you think ^^

The Meisters are 19x9.5 +24 & 19x10.5 +44, tyres are 265/30/19 & 295/30/19.

Just got a wheel repair shop to do the calipers (I'm in AUS).

Anyone have the new Volk 21A? This picture from Volk is the only one I have seen. Looking forward to see them on actual F87.

Are you running the oem big brakes with no clearance issues?

Running a ZL1 BBK up front and OEM rears.

Realizing that the rears give a lot of trouble as well and it’s now been the third time I’ve had pebbles get stuck in between the caliper and wheel on both my BBS RIA and TE37SL.

Can’t quite tell from the last pic, but were you running these on OEM 2NH calipers? If so, any issues with clearance?

I’m running a 380mm 6-piston ZL1 front caliper that is paint matched to the OE color

That's pretty awesome. Any up-close pix? First I've heard of it. Maybe it's a good solution for those guys always scratching their wheels with the stock 2NH? Was it expensive? Hard to fit? Do tell!

I’ll snag more pictures in a moment but it looks no different than the 2NH. The Signature Werks kit retails for $1,699 and takes about 5-6 weeks to get the OEM GM Calipers milled and the brackets produced. They can do whatever color you’d like, I chose OEM 2NH.

I installed them myself and the process is pretty easy, it took me about 15 minutes to remove the OEM brakes each side and I bled the brakes with Castrol SRF and everything lined up as it should. I’ve been daily driving my M2C for about 8-9 months now and about 7,500 miles on it now and no issues whatsoever. I run ZL1 spec EBC pads for the track and DuraLast pads for daily driving.

Yeah! It was cool and easy to install. My only thing was at the time I purchase they offered an overseas brand rotor and pad and I ended up using OEM rotors and my own pads just to be more secure with the products I use.

Here’s a close-ish pic
