Front brake heat issue

I would like to consider one step further on solution of the brake heat issue.

My M2 has brake ducts installed as some others members did, with intakes somewhere on underbody and blow offs directly onto the rotors. This method works quite good for air intake.

I recently discussed the heat issue with a motor sports company, it was easy to find out, intake brake ducts are only one part of the solution. The standard layout of M2 chassis does not allow hot air in wheel arch to move out sufficiently, there is one small inlet in the front bumber creating an air stream on the outer rim of wheel arch, but there is not any ventilation between wheel arch and front door.

Enclosed pictures of other sports cars solutions. M235 MOSP has a different construction of wheel arch, allowing air to move out, GT 2/GT3 use ventilation fins for heat delivery.

Would like to read your suggestions/comments before I grab the tin snips.

Those are not for brake heat. Those are to reduce lift at high speed.

Correct, Porsche went to some effort to point that out, has nothing to do with the brakes at all.

One you are mentioning is the vent that helps to reduce the air turbulence that interferes the down force of the car.

Brake ducts are something like;

This is rear brake cooling duct, and usually front ones are connected with the airflow from the front bumper
