So my dealer texted me (of al mediums) to let me know that I can return my lease car early and get into a new BMW. I texted back that if he finds me a M2 allocation (I've been on wait list since Jan) then we have a deal. So he gets back to me a day later and he got me an allocation. Now I'll start the battle to try get if somewhat under MSRP but I'm not holding my breath. Gonna be fun next few months.

Don't trust them until you can get an actual allocation number / build number.

Yeah I did get an order in. Week 46. They are not willing to go under MSRP though, even though I told them I'm bringing cash.

Congrats... that's a pretty quick allocation. Maybe someone backed out?

Yeah, not many are willing to go below MSRP. Besides, offering a cash deal is no incentive to the dealer; that probably represents their smallest profit margin.

You may already know but they only forgive 3 months of your remaining lease payments and you must go through BMW Financial for financing of your M2.

go ahead and do it if you're: A. Excited for an M2 or B. You've exceeded your lease mileage or close to the allowance.

By the time I'll collect the M2, it's going to be around 2 months left on my lease.

Today I contacted the dealer and told them to move my M2 deposit to the M2 CS. I'm number 12 on the waitlist...
