no cutting or splicing required. it comes w/ plug-in connectors that require you to remove the pins from the wire harness then connect them in the awron plug. the awron plug has a parallel wire sticking out from it to replace the pin on the car's wire harness. sounds complicated, but it's really very simple. just need small screwdrivers like those used for computers/glasses.

OBD Fusion, sorry. I searched for Torque Pro in the app store and that's what came up.

Yeah. Cool. I was wondering if I could do it myself.

How does the presence of a piggyback change the install of an Awron display? With the P3 vent gauge, it requires a separate wire running to the MAP sensor, as I understand it.
Which makes install farther from plug and play... |

I hate to dig up an old thread but it's one of the few that covered the actual Awron install.
The last wire that goes in is supposed to land on CON10 pin 3... my car has no wire in that position. The FEM has a pin in that location, but there was no wire in the factory harness at that spot for me. Can I just attach the Awron in that spot and simply not have to use the little piggyback connector? I'm worried about the gauge not shutting itself off when diagnostics are connected... (I'm pretty sure that's what that pin is used for, "ETH_WUP" - ethernet wakeup, and diags are all Ethernet-based...) Disregard! Another member found the answer already. On the LCI, you want CON8, pin 53 (yellow wire) for ETH_WUP.
