Grab some shop cloth. It's sturdier and can get rid of a lot more liquid with less towel

Unequivocally, I agree with you. Especially the last point. Driver's kits are different, but a flashlight should be in every one of them. Sometimes I've had to do my own car repairs on the road, because I couldn't go to a car service. I have a basic knowledge of repair, and a flashlight from https://www.amazon.com/Vont-Hurrican.../dp/B00NPLSZF8 helped to illuminate hard-to-reach places. It suited me thanks to its compact size and the choice of modes, so you can choose the best light depending on the task. Now it is your turn to tell me what kind of flashlight you are using.

If you're in a area of the world with high heat summers and drive with wet swim wear from the pool or shore (or get caught in a downpour), the following will keep your seat dry and the interior cooler:

I would say a sun shade regardless of climate due to heat beating down on leather.

A quart of motor oil in the trunk. During long stop lights, I'll engage the oil level test and if it's less than full, add a half a quart at the next fuel stop. My engine does not burn any oil but I'm careful to avoid overfilling during oil changes, and sometimes I'll undershoot.

+1 on the small bottle of water and a rag. Bird poop will damage paint if left on too long.

For long trips, I'll carry a spare tire, jack, cordless impact wrench, roadside flares, rubber gloves, head lamp, and knee pads. Sure we have BMW road side assistance, but I'd rather not waste hours waiting for repairs.
