Leases on 2018 or 2017 leftover?

Hi,

I am moving out of my i8 lease to get one of three cars, with the M2 in the lead.

I have seen all kinds of crazy numbers, but what is the going rate for a 36 month/12k mile lease on an M2 manual, moonroof, exec package?

Are there any "deals" on 2017s? Without moonroof of course.

I hate getting ripped off and was able to get a solid deal on my i8 after shopping around, but the thing is too darn expensive...and I miss driving a manual.

M2's market on either new or used is still scarce. However, there are some saying that demands are now meeting against the production as many are waiting for CS/CSL/ Competition whatever it will replace or add-on from the M2s offered at this moment.

Some deals are available and have seen some getting 4k difference between MY17 and MY18.
Keep your eyes on this Pricing / Ordering / European Delivery / PCD forum and sometimes you will see M2s available in general in North American market.

If you are dont mind getting used MY17, your choice will be even more broaden out. If you don't mind not having LCI features, new gauge instrument cluster, wireless charging cradle, LED adaptive headlight, LED tail lights, I would say why now MY17.

Figures for performance is the same and if you can save some $ in your pocket and do your mods or add-on extra MP parts. I would say MY17 is not a bad choice, and you will be happy with your driving experience.

Cheers

FYI, Also "member classified" forum will once in a while show-up some used, new MY17 model M2s as well.

Thanks for the info. I have been looking at a preowned M2 as well, since the leases are out of control. Case in point, my i8 sticker was $148k. I got a 36 month lease, 12k miles annually and around $5000 out of pocket, for $1249 a month. I cannot fathom paying $800 for a car that is almost 1/3 of the list price of my i8.

Hi there. On a 2018 M2, I was just quoted 57% residual on a 24mo and 54% on 30mo, both at 10k miles per year.

Borderline horrendous I’d say.

What were the numbers? I don't want to figure it out with residuals. #lazy

Seriously? That's insane. I will keep my i8, drive it more per year, and save some money.
