I have not received any notice as of yet from Apex or UPS. Have tried contacting Apex by e-mail and have not received any reply.

Apologize for the delayed response. Winter Group Buy wheels will be shipped out by the end of today. Once they have shipped, you will receive an email with tracking information

Yep... one of the wheels was dented during shipping.

That really sucks.. You dont have a pic of the damage do you? How is the return/replacement being handled? I trashed my boxes as soon as I unpacked and examined the wheels, although I wouldnt have wanted to reuse them in case a return was needed as their condition wasnt great. Ive found Apex to extremely accommodating with any issues that arise..

I also discarded the boxes immediately because of how flimsy they were.

I looked at the Apex site and found a Return/Exchange form so I filled that out in the meantime, but I'm not sure how well it is going to work if I have to send the wheel back first and then wait for a replacement given that winter is around the corner.

Any LCI 2018 M2 owners here who purchased the TPMS sensors in the group buy having problems resetting them?

I'd be interested to know if you were able to reset the TPMS sensors. I'm awaiting the delivery of a MY18 so I won't be able to confirm if they are working for me for another 2 to 3 weeks. Like you, I had also confirmed directly with APEX that the TPMS part number 36106856209 would work with the MY18. Hopefully that's not the issue.

So, in my case, I kept getting the tpms malfunction screen... I communicated with Apex who asked me to get the sensors scanned which I did.. Dont use the dealer for this.. They wanted to charge me $163 flat diagnostic fee to do what a local tire shop did for me today, free, with a hand scanner.. In my case, one of my sensors was reporting a duplicate ID number and therefore was reported by the vehicle as a malfunction and by the hand scanner as a fault.. The other 3 sensors scanned fine and reported the air and temp for their tire in the scan tool. Apex is sending me out a replacement sensor which Ill get installed in the wheel that reported the dupe. That should fix it. There is nothing wrong with the part number. They will work fine as long as there isnt this dupe id issue. TPMS is a major pain!!!!!!!!

Wow, ups charges came to $613 on top of the $100 already charged for shipping. Buyer beware for Canadians next time it comes around. Would defiantly not buy again with these charges. Too bad snow is already here, would have tried to try to return them. Already spending money on uber to work.

I'll see the receipt "In 24 hours". Ups called me to inform me fees are over $500 so I had to pay over phone. They don't take payments over 500 at the door... Then they said total was 613

I just got my set delivered today. $463.56 charge. $335.81 sales tax and UPS took $127.75 for their broker fee.

I am pleased with the wheels, no damage in transit. Perhaps a bit pricier than the BMW winter set but in my opinion they look nicer, are better constructed and they are square so I can rotate through all four positions.

Must be those Canadian taxes and UPS charges, because the Apex deal prices out at more than $300 less delivered than the BMW deal for me .

Here's my breakdown

Tax on Brok fee: 14.87

So it seems you guys got "lucky" and weren't charged duty?

Just wondering what PSI you guys are running your winter tires. The door sill says 35/35, and the manual says something different based on load and speed, and different between front and rear. Should PSI be different on different tire size and type (winter vs summer)? I have 245/40R18 X-ice btw.

I'm doing 33psi all around for now. We get a bunch of snow, so I want slightly lower pressure.

Finally got an update from Apex today. Basically I won't be able to get a replacement shipped until around December 10th because all the wheels were sold out through the group buy (the irony).

That is annoying. Returning back to the US won't be cheap either. How about getting the wheel repaired locally and having them pick up the cost? Would allow you to put your winters on right away. I know its not the ideal scenario but would make the best of the situation and avoid more delays.

Apex has decided to ship a replacement wheel without needing me to ship the damaged wheel back across the border.

Although I won't receive the replacement for another few weeks, at least I can put the winters on if necessary in the meantime. Nonetheless, I am satisfied with how the issue was settled.

Fingers crossed that the replacement wheel isn't damaged during transport either *knocks wood*.
