Really, I thought the warranty that you purchased was for pot hole damage, so it covers curb damage as well?

Would you happen to have some pics of the repair before and after especially showing the bad color match?

Joined the Rim Rash Club...

We are not alone bothering about the black 437M wheels and their complex personalities:

It turns out that the 437 is a combination of a painted and diamond cut/finished wheel.
What looks like the Grey portion is actually the diamond polished part which has been coated with a tinted lacquer. The black is obviously painted.
I've been fortunate enough to find somebody who knows what they're doing. The whole process took a couple of hours and the finish is flawless.

After a month of M2 ownership, I managed to get some road rash. After the obligatory profanity laced tirade, I smoothed it out with a Scotchbrite pad and it really does look a lot better. Not a professional repair job, but pretty good. If you aren't looking for it, you probably would never notice it.

I feel your pain

my heart is still aching after curbing mine today...only 2 weeks out
the reverse tilting mirror was actually what gave me more confidence than I should have had, nobody's fault but mine.

asked around for some quotes for repair and I'm getting costs between CAD$200-$375 because of the tinted clear. It hurts.

I just paid $ 100 and there is no way to tell a repair has been done. but LA is a long way to drive for a wheel repair.

It really does sucks. I need to get both of my right side wheels repaired. I curbed the front right wheel the 2nd day I had my car, tears were shed. Back right wheel happened within the first 3 weeks. I got used to the width of the car now so no more close calls. I have a wheel repair place the I have used in the past that does good work so just need to drop by there sometime. I was trying to decide if I wanted to wait until I get some slightly wider Michelin P4S tires to replace my Contis as a little extra insurance.
