It will be on rail to Tacoma WA and it will be deep in a parking lot until well after Christmas. then will somehow take 10 days for it to be trucked out of said parking lot. I am just getting my banking in order in the next several days so I will be ready. Stoked!

You sure about rail? The Titania is scheduled to depart Port Hueneme on Saturday (12-16) & arrive in Tacoma on Wednesday (12-20).

I was just told I will see my car before Christmas...

I was not expecting the car until the 1st or 2nd week of Jan.

I could understand that if the ship it's been on since leaving Deutschland was turning back. Seems odd that they would take it off a ship that is going to Tacoma to load it on a truck bound for Tacoma.

Either way, what a nice Christmas present.

Yeah... excited with good reason!

My CA has been mostly clueless regarding the timeframe between order & delivery. He is under the impression that they unload the cars directly onto truck transports to dealerships... no customs paperwork, no VPC...

Just checked WW logistics site, using the last 7 of my VIN as the cargo ID. It showed:
Customs Release & Liner Release on 12/13 (no doubt, 'paperwork' done at sea)
But, my car was Discharged on 12/15 at 16:18... so she is on US soil & on her way to VPC & a carrier soon.

Apologies to my West Coast week 45 breathren. I was with you ever step of the way, except the end. The dealer I purchased my wife’s 428GC a few years back called and had a very similar M2 to what I ordered, except it was missing the exec pkg. It did have the adaptive LEDs, which were what I really wanted. They also were able to get me $2200 off MSRP. I tried seeing if the dealer I ordered originally with would match, but no dice. As that is a serious chunk of change, I had to go with it. Only downside, no michillins. So I will take it upon myself do wear these Contis out as fast as humanly possible once the break in miles are done.
