Since the 4G (hardware) update on my ‘17 M2 I have not been able to reconnect to CarPlay. Everytime I do I receive an error that says “unable to connect”

I’ve tried every combination I can think of - delete phone from iDrive, delete car from iPhone, Hard Reset Phone, Hard Reset iDrive. Nothing seems to work. Is it a hardware issue ? Where would I be looking ?Could something have not been installed properly ? I’m stumped and BMW hasn’t been very helpful.

Try another phone to attempt to isolate the issue. If another iPhone connects you at least know the problem is unique to your device.

If not, then that increases the likelihood the issue lies with the car.

Definitely the car. In the time I've had this issue, I've had two different phones.
