I am just curious how you make this assumption when an N54 could barely do this? So unless the N55 turbo in the M2 is larger or there have been definitive turbo / waste gate tweaks ... this is virtually impossible... What you are misunderstanding is that if an N55 is making 370 WHP stock, then it has much less headroom left than it did that in the lower powered cars like the M235i. The only thing that would change that is a turbo modification of some sort, otherwise all out power is the same... and no N55 on a stock turbo has ever done this with any type of mods.

I'm not going to argue. Let's just wait and see what power it makes.

I have some news. Terry(jb4) has been testing a tune this week for the m2. Also, The good folks over at pure are almost done with an upgraded turbo for the car as well.

Go Terry Go!

I never used BMS or JB4, but I heard so many good things coming from their products!

But 90%, I think that I will go with them this time.

And then when the ECU Flash is available lol its going to be doing better 1/4 mile numbers, smoother power, CONSISTENT, and better dyno numbers without throttle closure =P piggy is a piggy

I'm putting it on my car for testing purpose and hard data proof.

JB4 OBD2 w/ BT to Data Log the car stock and on the drag strip
Then see what map he wants me to try and take it from there.
Do a few 10-15 drag passes ; record data and then go dyno with JB4 then put it on map0 (to see delta).. Then get ECU flash and Dyno (have the best of all 3) and go back to drag-strip
That's the best thing about jb4. You can run it standalone. Then run a backend fuel map for consistency. At least that's the plan.

Posted this in the other thread..

Terry Burger had an M2 on his dyno today. 330/385 at the wheels stock. California 91 octane will severely limit any additional power gains. He tried an E30 blend with a small tune and it immediately did 395/456. Way too early to say what the potential is but straight California gas is not so good for stock turbo. We'll have to wait for Terry to analyze the data and develop the capabilities more.

You don't need to read what Terry wrote? Because it CERTAINLY isn't what you posted.

I've seen your posts. You know exactly zero about this platform. More reading, less posting.

What are you talking about I already have a flash I got rid of the Jb4 Teri does not recommend anything else but map 1 why buy jb4 if The owner doesn't recommend it

I am so excited for this! Finally someone offering customized tuning specifically for the M2. I was a huge PTF fan when I had my e9x and look forward to using this tune on my M2

Little firmware testing. Making steps, no more throttle closures, very smooth.
