2019 or 2021?
Hello!
Looking for advice between 2 possible vehicles I am considering (upgrading from a Golf R). Both are M2C, Hockenheim & manual. 1) 2019 local to me, 33k miles for $49k, from a BMW dealer. I think I can negotiate a bit. 2) 2021, CPO, 12k miles $52k, but it's 2k miles from me (another BMW dealer), so there would be an extra 1.8k for shipping it to me and 4 weeks wait time (flight + drive back not an option due to winter + mountains). This would also imply selling my current car privately as I wouldn't be able to trade it in. I doubt I'd be able to negotiate much doing a remote purchase. 3) Wait for a local '21/lower miles to show up and (maybe) for the market to go down a bit more (both cars have been discounted since their original price) Which one would you go for? I guess it comes down to 5k extra + wait time + selling privately in exchange for lower miles and CPO. I don't tune my cars, so locked ECUs are a moot point for me. Thanks! |

Tough choice! Good luck sorting this out.
Will the dealer CPO the '19? If they don't want to, ask them WHY. Oh and keep the R if you can, they make a great pair.
